A day trip to Lamington and Tambourine National Parks

A quick visit to some of the National Parks south of Brisbane with my girlfriend yielded some great results, with wonderful views of Albert's Lyrebird, Noisy Pitta, Logrunner and a host of rainforest birds.
From Tambourine, we moved to O'riellys. Though rain threatened, we had a good hour walking along the boardwalk and searching areas close to the guesthouse. Sadly, the Regent Bowerbirds had already left the area for the lower slopes, however we did have some great views of Logrunner and Pretty-faced Wallabies and a number of other more common species in the area.Read more.
