Green Hill Road Dam ChilternA currently-reliable site to see Regent Honeyeater (2011). This is an outstanding area of Box Iron-bark forest. It's famed for these honeyeaters, plus Turquoise Parrots and Painted Buttonquail. From time to time, you can also see Yellow-footed Antechinus.
Getting ThereBetween Pipeline Track and Battery Hill Road (approximate location indicated). Head into Chiltern and turn down Conness Street, on the corner where the visitor information building is located. Turn left up the dirt Battery Hill Road, then right along Magenta Track. This takes you to a bend in the road where Green Hill Road begins. The dam is just past this bend on the right.
