Warriewood Wetlands (Main Reserve)

Warriewood Wetlands (east of Garden St) is comprised primarily of Swamp Mahogany Forest with extensive reedbeds. These wetlands are best for wetland birds and raptors - the forest (west of Garden St) is where the wet forest birds are (see "Irrawong Reserve").

Getting There

Parking at the end of Irrawong Rd is best. If you follow the path east (through Irrawong Reserve), parallel to Irrawong Rd, you will eventually reach Garden St. After crossing, there will be another path on your left, which is the entrance to Warriewood Wetlands. You can also park next to the playground at Katoa Reserve, and enter the wetlands from this direction.
